Airman 1st Class Nickolas Hatch disregarded personal safey to run across the flightline and set the brake on an out of control rolling power unit. The power unit was rolling toward an aircraft. This action averted costly aircraft damage and unnecessary down time.

Airman 1st Class Ayala is vital to the 23 programs that fall to her within the CSS. She not only supports 337 19th Medical Group members, but also one group commander, three squadron commanders and first sergeant. She tracks and updates 60 MDG Operation Instructions and ensures all EPR/OPRs are finalized in member’s records. She is also pursuing further education and currently POC for local women’s shelter.

Staff Sgt. Raines is a member of a 3-person section responsible for the evaluation and certification of over 200 Security Forces Squadron members. Due to extenuating circumstances, he has single-handedly manned the section, completed all duties, and put in countless hours including swing & mid-shift work, sacrificing family time to ensure the success of the unit.

Carvalho flawlessly executes command and control to the home of Agile Combat Airlift. Last week, as an integral member of the command post team, Carvalho coordinated support resources for the hurricane evacuation of 34 aircraft and 240 personnel. Carvalho's daily responsibilities include flight following for three airlift wings, mass notification in times of emergency and operational reporting to higher headquarters.
