More than 100 Little Rock Airmen Deploy to Southwest Asia Published May 5, 2015 By 150505 Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. -- More than 120 Team Little Rock Airmen deployed May 4, 2015, to support worldwide contingency operations in various theaters overseas. Currently Little Rock Air Force Base has more than 400 Airmen deployed around the globe supporting wartime and contingency operations. As part of global air mobility, our combat airlifters deliver the right effects, at the right place, at the right time. We execute and sustain rapid global mobility by hauling passengers, cargo and supplies. The multi-functional role of the C-130 provides combatant commanders with very unique and flexible capabilities, guaranteeing there will always be a demand for the C-130 combat airlift. --30--
