As the 913th Operations Support Squadron non-commissioned officer in charge of weapons and tactics, Miller was the logistics coordinator for Joint Exercise Balikatan, skillfully managing a $450,000 budget. He worked with eight local contractors to establish a fully functioning Forward Operating Base supporting 124 personnel in the Philippines.

Additionally, he orchestrated the logistical movement of the Mobile Aircraft Arresting System to three countries, allowing the integration of 14 fighter squadrons into a U.S. Navy littoral live-fire exercise that launched SM-6 missiles to engage designated targets.

Finally, he managed the Current Operations office, leading the unit's 1,395-hour $6.6 million flying hour program, and securing funding for 16 C-130J mission tasking for two major commands.
