Senior Airman Mitchell supports the 19th Airlift Wing's mission of “TacAir Anywhere” by leading the Visitor Center's foreign visitor program. She collaborates with OSI to vet base contractors, family members, and foreign coalition forces for C-130 training to strengthen the Air Force's alliances with different nations' armed forces.

Additionally, Mitchell executed the Wing's priorities of Noble Airmen and families when she displayed the Air Force core value of service before self. She assisted the widow of a fallen defender and law enforcement official for five hours. She provided comfort and encouragement plus adherence to uniform standards for the esteemed 40-year-old veteran.

Finally, Mitchell exercised another Wing priority, Innovation without barriers, by constructing the 19th SFS recycling program. She coordinated with the base recycling center and installed bins at four locations: the Visitor Center, Vandenberg gate, Arnold gate and other gate locations, contributing to the collection of about 164K pounds of recyclable material along with generating revenue of approximately $240k yearly for LRAFB.
