405th EAES & 61st EAS Execute Exercise Bright Star

U.S. Air Force service members assigned to the 405th Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and the 61st Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, assigned to the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, train their Egyptian counterparts in the ways of airlift and aeromedical evacuation, executing exercise Bright Star 23, Sept. 10, 2023. Bright Star 23 is a multilateral U.S. Central Command exercise held with the Arab Republic of Egypt across air, land, and sea domains that promotes and enhances regional security and cooperation, and improves interoperability in irregular warfare against hybrid threat scenarios.
