Name and Rank: Tech. Sgt. Nicole Beck

Unit: 189th Airlift Wing Tenant/154th Training Squadron

Official Duty Title:  C-130 Hercules Formal Training Unit (FTU) instructor

Hometown: Born in Marquette, Michigan. Moved a lot as a “military brat.”

Time in service: 14 years

Time in Little Rock: 9 years

Goals: Earn the rank of chief master sergeant and to help develop female airmen.  

Hobbies: Road biking, hiking, and spending time with her son and dogs

Beck serves as a C-130 Hercules FTU Instructor in the 154th Training Squadron, responsible for training Airmen to become loadmasters. For her, one of the most rewarding aspects of her job as an instructor is seeing the look on an airman’s face as they take their first flight.

In addition to her military service, she also works part-time as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, in Little Rock.
