Why was the individual selected and how do they display the core value?

Quintero exhibits all Air Force Core Values, but one that is most observed is Excellence in All We Do. As a C-130H instructor loadmaster, Quintero was selected to be upgraded to a formal training unit instructor, completing training ahead of schedule. His dedication to technical accuracy and student development led to his first student receiving an “Exceptionally Qualified” on his initial evaluation. Additionally, Quintero completed his Community College of the Air Force degree with a 3.62 grade point average.  He has since enrolled to begin classes with Liberty University, with a concentration in aviation.
