Colonel JOSHUA IMME

Colonel Joshua J. Imme is the Deputy Commander, 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, the "Home of Herk Nation." The wing is responsible for providing worldwide deployable C-130 aircraft, aircrew, support personnel, and equipment for Air Mobility Command and Air Expeditionary Force tasking’s while serving more than 10,000 personnel and families in the Little Rock community. As deputy commander, Col. Imme assists the commander in directing the combined efforts of all operations and support activities of the installation and the wing’s worldwide mobility mission that includes the operation and sustainment of 62 C-130 aircraft. He is responsible for ensuring the readiness and well-being of 10,000 Active Duty, Reserve, Air National Guard, and civilian personnel and their families. Col. Imme works in concert with the 314th Airlift Wing (AETC), the 189th Airlift Wing (ANG), the 913th Airlift Group (AFRC), and the 29th Weapons Squadron (ACC).

Col. Imme entered the Air Force in May 2000 through the United States Air Force Academy. He has served in various leadership positions at the Squadron, Group, and Wing level. He is a C-130J command pilot and led crews in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. He supported humanitarian and aeromedical evacuation missions in the Pacific and the United States. He served as a C-130 Weapons Officer and deployed as the Chief of Safety in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to his current position he was the Senior U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Liaison Officer to U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
