Colonel PHILIP C. DORSCH

Col Philip Dorsch is the Commander, 19th Maintenance Group, 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. He provides leadership and training for more than 1,100 personnel maintaining Air Mobility Command’s 31 C-130J aircraft. Colonel Dorsch also directs heavy maintenance, off-equipment maintenance & AGE support to Air Education and Training Command’s 14 C-130J aircraft and support equipment.

Col Dorsch graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master’s Degrees from Oklahoma University and Air Command and Staff College.  He has served in various assignments to include NATO CJ4 Director, AMC A4 staff officer, depot and operational group deputy commander, squadron commander, flag officer’s executive officer, as well as flight line and back shop maintenance positions working the A/OA-10, A-29, C-5, C-130, C-141, C-17, F-16, F-15, KC-10, KC-46 and the UH-1H aircraft.  He is a graduate of the Air Force Logistics Career Broadening Program, numerous logistics courses, an AFSO21/CPI Blackbelt and Level II Life Cycle Logistics accredited. Col Dorsch has deployed in support of several contingencies, including Operations ALLIED FORCE, NORTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, ENDURING FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, FREEDOM’S SENTINAL and RESOLUTE SUPPORT.
