Lieutenant Colonel LEONARD MILLER

Lt. Col. Leonard Miller is the Operations Officer, 913th Operations Support Squadron, 913th Airlift Group, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. He is the senior air reserve technician for the 913th Operations Support Squadron and is responsible for the training, readiness, and equipping of operations support functions to include intelligence, tactics, aircrew flight equipment, current operations, aircrew resource management, and group plans. As a classic association with the 19th Airlift Wing (AMC), he works with the host wing to provide material and training support to the reservists and aircrew in the 913th Airlift Group.

Lt. Col. Miller graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2001. He is a Command Pilot with multiple assignments flying tactical airlift. After his first assignment flying C-130Es throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa from Ramstein AB, Germany, his duties included instructing at the C-130E/H Schoolhouse, shaping C-130 training for five MAJCOMs and numerous countries, and leading the first C-130 Classic Association.
Lt. Col. Miller has participated in global operations and deployed five times in support of operations Joint Forge, Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Freedom Sentinel, and Inherent Resolve. He is a command pilot with more than 3,700 flying hours.
