Richard, a Walkersville, Md. native, liaised with the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and the 19th Airlift Wing to resolve a four year problem payment voucher for landing fees within a matter of weeks. LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- SSgt Gary, A. Richard III, 19th Comptroller Squadron, noncommissioned officer in charge financial analyst, initiated peer-to-peer training for three wings in Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command and Air Force Global Strike Command on implementation of new Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System which allowed for the transition of over $425 million. Richard served as a liaison with the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service and the 19th Airlift Wing to resolve a four-year problem payment voucher for landing fees within a matter of weeks. He also filled a technical sergeant position by performing noncommissioned officer in charge duties while mentoring and guiding nine members to achieve seven squadron, five 19 Airlift Wing Staff Agency and two Air Mobility Command awards for individual as well as organizational excellence.
