Combat Airlifter of the Week
Staff Sgt. Gary Richard III, 19th Comptroller Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge budget analyst, was named Combat Airlifter of the Week May 26, 2015, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Richard, a Walkersville, Md. native, liaised with the United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, and the 19th Airlift Wing to resolve a four year problem payment voucher for landing fees within a matter of weeks.
