The 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels management flight works daily to ensure eight flying squadrons achieve their mission objectives at Little Rock Air Force Base. Without petrol or Airmen refuelers, the Little Rock AFB flightline would be nothing more than an oversized parking lot. Before powering airplanes, that vital jet fuel will first make its way through the 19th LRS fuels bulk storage terminal. At the terminal,  Jet A fuel is stored in bulk and looked after by a team of approximately six civilian Airmen. The team is responsible for storing, inspecting and transporting vast amounts of fuel at Little Rock AFB. Over the years, the storage facility has seen millions of gallons of jet fuel. The fuels terminal technicians adhere to strict regulations and are knowledgeable in spill training as well as chemical safety and identifying hazards. The 19th LRS Airmen rely and work alongside the terminal team to supply fuel to all C-130s and transient aircraft that require it.
