The Official Mail Center handles all incoming mail and internal outgoing mail to the Airmen at Little Rock Air Force Base. On a typical day, the mail center receives mail, and Airmen sort it by the squadron and building number. Once mail has been processed, bundles of mail are put together and loaded onto the mail truck. To ensure it is delivered safely, Airmen ride all across base and hand deliver mail. These tedious truck runs can last as long as three hours. Throughout the mail run, the truck comes back to the center to drop off certified mail it has accumulated. Regardless of the workload, the Airmen remain dedicated to deliver not just mail but excellence to the entire base.
