LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --

Little Rock Airmen fine-tuned their skills during a deployment exercise Feb. 21, 2018, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas.

One of the simulations was focused on leaving for and arriving to a deployed location, and walking Airmen through out-processing from their home station. Airmen left on simulated flights and returned to a simulated deployed environment where they were then in-processed as if it were a real deployment.

“It’s important for us to practice these procedures in order to be proficient when and if the time comes to use them,” said 1st Lt. Meagan Eaton, 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron officer in charge.

Wing inspection team members evaluated the Airmen on their performance and required individuals to carry their mobility folders for a real deployment and review mission oriented protective posture levels; procedures taken during different alarm conditions.
