  • Keeping up with aircrew safety: 19th OSS AFE

    Pilots and loadmasters are some of the first Airmen who come to mind when thinking about the safe execution of agile combat airlift. The 19th Operations Support Squadron Aircrew Flight Equipment Flight is responsible for maintaining all in-flight safety equipment, ensuring aircrew are properly trained in the event of an emergency.
  • C-130s over Normandy

    C-130s from the 317th Airlift Wing, Dyess Air Force Base, Texas and the 314th AW, Little Rock AFB, Arkansas, fly in formation over the beaches of Normandy, France, while participating in fly-over events June 4, 2019. More than 26 aircraft and 2,000 military personnel from various units and countries will participate in approximately 55 commemorative D-Day events from May 31 to June 9, 2019.
  • Reserve unit returns from deployment

    More than 100 Reserve Citizen Airmen from the 913th Airlift Group returned from deployment on May 19, 2019, from various bases in Southwest Asia in support of Operations Freedom’s Sentinel and NATO’s Resolute Support. The deployed group consisted of the 327th Airlift Squadron, 913th Maintenance Squadron, and is augmented by members of the 403rd Wing and active-duty personnel from the 19th Airlift Wing.
  • Little Rock Airmen test next generation gas mask

    Airmen from Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, tested the capabilities of the M69 Joint Service Aircrew Mask Strategic Aircraft for implementation and field use for individual respiratory, ocular and percutaneous protection against chemical biological agents on the C-130J airframe April 25 – 30. The M69 is intended to replace the Aircrew Eye and Respiratory Protection system.
