The 62nd Airlift Squadron at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, accepted the task of providing essential transportation to hundreds of students across the country in support of AETC’s training pipeline.

    The Vietnam War neared its end when North Vietnamese forces destroyed nearly 100 aircraft on the flight line at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Vietnam, on April 29, 1975. Only one flyable aircraft remained: A C-130A Hercules with the tail number 56-0518.
  • ROCKI 20-01 rolls into Phase II

    Airmen form the 19th Airlift Wing began Phase II of ROCKI 20-01 at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, Nov. 12, 2019. Although that is a typical view of a hero to many, one man’s heroes were two ordinary Airmen who were in the right place at the right time. U.S. Air Force Capt. Benjamin Pritchard, 19th Operations Support Squadron officer in charge of intelligence analysis, and U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Victoria Simon, 19th OSS intelligence analyst were on a temporary duty assignment to Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, taking part in Exercise Mobility Guardian 2019 when they witnessed the accident.
