• Celebrating 50 years of C-130 training at LRAFB

    It is often said that “Herk Nation starts here” at Little Rock Air Force Base. After all, every C-130J Super Hercules pilot and crew member receives training here. Wherever they go, if they’re flying or working in a C-130, they first learned how to do it at Little Rock AFB.

  • TLR hosts Senior Leader Spouse Immersion tour

    Team Little Rock recently hosted the Senior Leader Spouse Immersion tour. The immersion included visits to key areas around LRAFB with the intent of familiarizing spouses on the base to better equip them in assisting Airmen and their families.

  • New AMC commander takes flight with Black Knights

    Lt. Gen. Michael Minihan recently visited Little Rock Air Force Base to complete his senior officer course on the C-130J Super Hercules. A command pilot with more than 3,400 flight hours, Minihan was promoted to the rank of General prior to assuming command of Air Mobility Command on Oct. 5, 2021.

    The 19th Airlift Wing hosted a Spouses’ Day event Oct. 2, providing military spouses an opportunity to learn more about the mission of the installation and fly aboard a C-130J Super Hercules.
