Combat Airlifter of the Week: Airman 1st Class Preston Mayer
                Airman 1st Class Preston Mayer, 19th Operations Support Squadron airfield management shift lead, is recognized as the Combat Airlifter of the Week at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, April 9, 2021. As a 19th OSS airfield management shift lead, Mayer enabled the airfield to stay open and deliver vital supplies to Texas during the historic winter storm. Additionally, he coordinated the airlift for the deployment and redeployment of 500 Arkansas National Guard troops, and 800 Nevada National Guard troops to provide assistance during the presidential inauguration.
