They donate the face shields to healthcare workers at the 19th Medical Group and medical professionals in the local community.

    Airmen assigned to the 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron Aerial Delivery Flight at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, volunteered to fabricate cloth face masks in an effort to support Secretary of Defense Mark Esper’s new guidance on the use of cloth face coverings released on April 5.

  • 19th LRS honors fallen Airman

    The 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron aerial delivery flight hosted a memorial airdrop in honor of U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Shawn McKeough, Jr. who was killed during an attempted robbery March 16 at a gas station in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
  • Port Dawg Memorial Run

    The Port Dog Memorial Run is held to remember Airmen from the 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron who have given their lives. This run, which is the largest memorial run in the United States Air Force, is also hosted by other aerial ports from around the world during Transportation Week.
  • 19th LRS drives AF toward innovation

    The 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle operations flight received a new vehicle cockpit simulator late last year. The simulator allows for safer, more cost-effective on-the-job training. The $8,500 simulator was purchased last year using innovation funds issued by the 19th Airlift Wing commander. The vehicle cockpit simulator contains three screens, a vehicle seat, a steering wheel, peddles and a manual stick shift replica. The simulation program also contains different settings and scenarios for various vehicles and weather conditions.
