C-130J performs proof of concept Specialized Fueling Operations with F-35

A C-130J assigned to the 19th Airlift Wing fuels an F-35 assigned to the 62nd Fighter Wing during a hot pit refueling at the Air Dominance Center located at the Savannah Air National Guard Base, Georgia, Feb. 17, 2023. During the hot pit exercise the aircrews performed proof of concept Specialized Fueling Operations with an R-11 Fuel Truck and an F-35 which included wet-wing defuel and hot refuel ops.
