C-130J performs proof of concept Specialized Fueling Operations with F-35

Tech. Sgt. Christopher Barrow, 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron Petroleum Oils and Lubricants supervisor, pulls a fuel hose during a hot pit refueling, Feb. 17, 2023, at the Air Dominance Center located at the Savannah Air National Guard Base, Georgia. During the hot pit exercise the aircrews performed proof of concept Specialized Fueling Operations with an R-11 Fuel Truck and an F-35 which included wet-wing defuel and hot refuel ops.
