LRAFB Conducts Vapor Purge Test
Researchers from the 711th Human Performance Wing board a C-130J Super Hercules with multiple-tube samplers and data gathering tools at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, Dec. 2, 2020. Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear analysts from the 711th HPW at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, conducted an experiment to determine how long it takes for a chemical contaminant to purge itself from an aircraft as well as potential best practices to efficiently reduce the amount of chemical particles in the air.
