Mrs. Petraeus, Director of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s office of service member affairs, speaks with Team Little Rock Airmen about their rights as military consumers and financial protection June 8, 2016, at the Walters Community Center on Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The CFPB is the first federal agency solely focused on consumer financial protection and was created to protect consumers of financial products or services and to encourage the fair and competitive operation of consumer financial markets. Mrs. Petraeus wanted to ensure Team Little Rock she hears directly from service members across the DoD about the challenges they face in the marketplace and brings their concerns to the attention of financial institutions to be resolved in a timely manner.
