Marketa Ransom, a 19th Contracting Squadron administrative assistant, helps a customer by phone June 23, 2013, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Ransom works weekly during normal duty hours supporting the 19th CONS and her commander. She ensures the commander’s day runs smoothly by keeping an accurate account of his calendar schedule. She is currently managing the government travel card program by ensuring Airmen’s cards are active and ready for use before leaving for a temporary duty station or training. Ransom also manages the defense travel systems program, where she validates vouchers and orders so Airmen receive precise reimbursement when they return.
