Miss Arkansas USA Kelly George Week
Sherwood Mayor Dan Stedman presents Second Lt. Kelly George, Miss Arkansas USA, a proclamation declaring March 19-24 as "Miss Arkansas USA Kelly George Week" March 1. During her send-off event the evening March 1, Lieutenant George was presented with a key to the city of Sherwood by Mayor Stedman. "We are so proud of her and to have her live in Sherwood. She will do great representing Arkansas and our Armed Forces," said Mayor Stedman, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel. "We wish her well and hope she brings the title home to Arkansas."
