Civic Leaders tour Marietta

Col. C.K. Hyde, 314th Airlift Wing commander, hosted more than 40 civic leaders from central Arkansas Sept. 27 on a tour to Lockheed Martin C-130 production plant in Marietta, Ga. The day-long tour, which included a flight on the wing's C-130s, was planned to educate members of the community on C-130J Super Hercules' design and development focused on the aircraft's mission flexibility - combat delivery, air-to-air refueling, special operations, disaster relief and humanitarian missions. The tour serves to educate civic partners to the fact that our Air Force cannot operate alone. Their support is vital to accomplishing Team Little Rock's mission.
