2 EOD Airmen receive Bronze Stars
Col. Mike Minihan, 19th Airlift Wing commander, presents Tech. Sgt. Heath Mooney, 19th Explosive Ordnance Disposal team leader, with his wife Emily (left) with the Bronze Star Medal here Dec. 2, 2010, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Sergeant Mooney distinguished himself by exceptionally meritorious service to the United States as EOD Team Leader, 447th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sergeant Mooney led his team on 59 missions during his deployment to Camp Taji, Iraq, directly supporting Army operations.
