Berlin campaign banner presented to 48th AS

Col. Mark Czelusta, 314th Airlift Wing commander, places the Berlin Airlift streamer on the 48th Airlift Squadron guidon, Feb. 4, 2011, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The 48th Airlift Squadron was activated on May 30, 1942, and was later re-designated as the 48th Troop Carrier Squadron and participated in the Berlin Airlift flying the C-54.
