Senior Airman Brittani Newhouse, 19th Medical Support Squadron, trains flight medicine technicians on the proper way to fill an Air Force Form 1488 (injury log) Jan. 30. Newhouse, a Wichita, Kan., native, was recognized at a 2012 AF Medical Service conference for setting the standard in claims collections, leading to collections 28 percent above established goals.
