Air Force Fitness Program promoting TOTAL FITNESS Published Nov. 20, 2013 By Staff Sgt. Russ Scalf 19th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark -- The Air Force Fitness Program goal is to motivate Airmen to participate in a year-round physical conditioning program that emphasizes total fitness, to include proper aerobic conditioning, strength and flexibility training, and healthy eating. The Fitness Assessment Cell of the 19th Force Support Squadron has the responsibility of monitoring the effectiveness of that program by administrating physical fitness testing for the Airmen of Little Rock Air Force Base. The FAC tests approximately 1,750 Airmen per month and 21,000 a year.
