Col. Michael Zick, 19 Airlift Wing vice commander, presents Staff Sgt. Chad Countryman, 19th Equipment Maintenance Squadron assistant non-commissioned officer in charge of munitions accountability, with a commander’s coin Oct. 27 for his selection as the Combat Airlifter of the Week. Sergeant Countryman earned the honor through his performance in providing critical munitions support to 19th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordinance disposal flight which enabled the destruction of 130 potential explosive hazards found statewide through civilian assistance agreements with local law enforcement agencies.
