The 19th Force Support Squadron's Razorback Inn is providing 24 hours a day, seven days a week, lodging accommodations to military families and their holiday visitors this holiday season.

The Razorback Inn is accepting reservations 30 days in advance from November to December. All the rooms are suites with separate living room and bedroom areas.

The lodging facilities provide cheaper accommodations, without sacrificing the quality of a guests stay.

"Air Force Inns' lodging goal is to maintain the same qualities as a medium-range commercial lodging facility downtown, but our prices are greatly reduced," said Darin Long, 19th Force Support Squadron, guest services manager. "We're probably half the price if not even less than that of commercial lodging facilities of the same grade."

Room rates range from $39 to $53.25 per night. Guests must pay in advance at the time of check-in.

It's important for the staff to provide a safe, comfortable and clean living environment for their guests.

"Our cleaning standards are much higher than that downtown. You can rest assured that even though some of our stuff may be older, it's clean," said Mr. Long. "In the facilities that we offer, you generally have more space than you would in a commercial lodging facility. Not to mention the security of knowing that you're on a military installation, that little extra peace of mind."

The inn is centrally located on base and conveniently located close to Hangar 1080, the Deer Run Golf Course and the Bowling Center.

"The comforts, easy accessibility and price are all good reasons for families to utilize the facilities," said Pat Jones, 19th FSS lodging maintenance and employee of 15 years.

The Razorback Inn staff will do everything possible to provide their guests with top-notch customer service.

"A lot of times guests will have problems with their rooms and they don't notify us until check-out, but if they would call the desk to notify us, we could probably get it fixed rather quickly, and they won't have to put up with that problem during their entire stay," said Mr. Long.
