The 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron combat metals shop is unique since it takes two different Air Force Specialty Codes and puts them in the same area working side-by-side. The shop consists of the metals technology and structural repairs Air Force Specialty Codes, something not done at home stations. The shop has not only completed jobs for the 386th Maintenance Group, but they have also repaired items from the 386th Expeditionary Force Support Squadron food services department and gym, the 386th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron and the 396th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron. In addition, they have finished work for the local Army detachment, and coalition and international partners.
