New ITT location offers $1,000 Prize

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  The Information, Tickets and Travel Office at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. is moving to the Base Exchange here after a grand opening ceremony Friday.

Do you ever wish you had a personal travel guide to help you plan out your family vacations? How about the endless hours spent surfing the web to get the best value? The 19th Force Support Squadron can help you with your travel needs so you don't have to leave the base.

The 19th FSS Information, Tickets and Travel Office has moved from the Skills Development Center and will now be open for business in the Base Exchange.
Joann Lindsey, Community Services flight chief, said the move into the Base Exchange lobby "will allow for a more visible placement of the ITT office, as well as an increase in foot traffic to both ITT and the Base Exchange."

To support the opening, some of the Force Support facilities will have decorations and information about the major destinations promoted through ITT along with a "passport" to encourage customers to attend the ceremony Friday.

To be entered into the drawing to win the $1,000 vacation package grand prize, participants must have their passport stamped at the eight participating locations and bring your passport to ITT Friday.

Facilities participating are the Fitness Center, Thomas Community Activity Center, Bowling, Golf, Skills Development, Outdoor Recreation, and the Library.

Even without all eight stamps, you can still be entered into a drawing for other great prizes. Some of those prizes include additional trips through the Armed Forces Vacation Club, passes to the Titanic Museum and zip line tours in Branson, Mo., the Sun Studio in Memphis and more. Drawings will be held throughout the day, and you don't need to be present to win.

A formal ribbon cutting announcing the opening takes place at 1 p.m. followed by light refreshments and music. Operational hours for Information, Tickets and Travel are Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The telephone number is 501-987-5105.
