Little Rock Air Force Base will be participating in Winter Wingman Day Feb. 7.
Winter Wingman Day is a no-fly, down day for all base components of Team Little Rock. The day is designed for base personnel to focus solely on resilience and strengthening their Comprehensive Airmen Fitness. Classes will be held throughout the day and catered towards the four CAF domains (mental, physical, emotional and spiritual).

Team Little Rock members will be able to choose the classes they would like to attend. Personnel are required to attend three classes plus their respective Commander's Call. However, the Airman and Family Readiness Center will be teaching a finance class during certain squadron calls. Those members will only be required to complete an additional two classes.

Personnel are encouraged to attend classes in areas they feel they need to strengthen. Most classes will run for 30 to 90 minutes. There will be two-hour classes available.

Each class will have a sign in sheet on Wingman Day, but personnel must sign up in advance through Sharepoint. The link will be released through the base Facebook page and individual chains of command.

For the mental pillar, check out Cinema Therapy, a form of therapy or self-help that uses movies, particularly videos, as therapeutic tools. Cinema therapy can be a catalyst for healing and growth for those who are open to learning how movies affect people and to watching certain films with conscious awareness. Cinema therapy allows one to use the effect of imagery, plot, music, etc. in films on the psyche for insight, inspiration, emotional release or relief and natural change. Used as part of psychotherapy, cinema therapy is an innovative method based on traditional therapeutic principles.

For the social pillar, you can visit the REAL Talk course. REAL (Readily Empowered Airmen Leaders) Talk is a candid discussion with Airmen to increase their empowerment and leadership. Topics will include but are not limited to on/off-duty conduct, reinforcing an understanding of leadership, chain of command, and Sexual Assault Response Coordinator's role in addressing the issues. This class is 50 minutes and limited to 25 people per class.

For the physical pillar, you might want to try the Improving Running Efficiency course. This is a one-hour introductory course on the principles/techniques of running more efficiently to reduce lower extremity injuries. This is taught by physical therapist, Maj. Brian Langford, 19th Medical Operations Squadron. Call (501) 987-7455 with any questions.

For the spiritual pillar, The Little Rock AFB Chapel will present 6 sessions from the "Art of Marriage." The "Art of Marriage" is a Christian-based video series, led by Family Life Inc. and facilitated by chaplains, which consists of a mixture on how to handle marriage-related issues. Each session will have a video that is roughly 25 minutes long followed by an interactive group discussion. These group discussions will look from the aspect of the spiritual domain to encourage couples how to maintain a vibrant and healthy marriage. The modules are:

- Love Happens: God's Purpose and Plan
- Love Fades: Overcoming Isolation
- Love Dances: Fulfilling our Responsibility
- Love Interrupted: Communication and Conflict
- Love Sizzles: Experiencing Real Intimacy
- Love Always: Leaving a Lasting Legacy
