LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  If it's in the air, maintenance put it there! Wherever you find a C-130 at Little Rock Air Force Base you'll find an aircraft metals technician. Aircraft metals technology specialists are the best of the best when it comes to machine parts, welding and creating things from scratch. Supporting 623 pieces of ground equipment and approximately 80 aircraft, these Airmen support the mission by welding an arc welder with the precision of a surgeon. Any technician will tell you if an aircraft metals technologist can't make it, then it can't be made.
