Team Little Rock Airmen participated in a field training exercise April 22 - 23 on the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences campus. The exercise is the fourth of its kind in the U.S. and was among the largest ever held in Arkansas. More than 30 local, state and federal agencies participated in the two-day event. Airmen from the base simulated roles as hostages, injured victims of an explosion and victims exposed to radiation. Additional base members attended the UAMS exercise as observers for potential training and lessons learned from the partner agencies. Observer units included some of the following: security forces, bio-environmental, emergency management, the fire department and the wing inspection team.
