Memorial Day Retreat

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  In observance of Memorial Day, Team Little Rock honored the fallen at a wreath-laying ceremony May 26, 2014, within Heritage Park at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The three wing commanders laid wreaths at three different memorials: the Global War on Terrorism memorial, the 62nd Airlift Squadron memorial and the Little Rock Air Force Base memorial. This time-honored military tradition commemorates Memorial Day, first known as Decoration Day, and honors the men and women who died while serving in the military.
