The Crossroads Café, located in building 864, is open to all Airmen and offers free activities, events, volunteer opportunities and a free dinner Friday night.

"We like to call Crossroads a 'living room for Airmen'," said Rachael Lewis, a volunteer at the Crossroads Café. "We offer an array of opportunities. We have big screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, gaming systems, drinks, snacks, pool tables, foosball, ping pong, band equipment and much more."

Along with their free Friday night dinners and pastimes, the Crossroads Café also holds events.

"We try to have two events every month," said Lewis. "Our events are always free, and we encourage all Airmen, E-4 and below. We also have volunteer appreciations once a month, to show the volunteers how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication."

The events at Crossroads have prizes. Some examples of events are going to the movie theatre, Playtime Pizza, paintball, Arkansas Travelers games, Altitude Trampoline Park, pool tournaments and gaming tournaments.

Not only do volunteers at Crossroads Café get to have fun, they also get the rewarding experience of volunteerism.

"Crossroads is such a great place to work," said Lewis. "I enjoy knowing that I, along with the help and support of the amazing volunteers, am making a difference."

Crossroads offers a safe and fun environment for Airmen. This environment will help lower stress and gives Airmen an opportunity to meet friends.

"Volunteering with us is one of the easiest, most fun volunteer experiences you'll have," said Lewis. "Some volunteers don't even realize their leadership capabilities until they start volunteering here and just naturally lead. It's such a great place to be!"
