Behind the scenes at the 19th MDG

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  Members of the 19th Medical Group's medical logistics flight and biomedical equipment maintenance flight work hand in hand to keep the 19th MDG up and running. Even though the medical logistics and medical equipment repair flights do not provide direct care to the patients, their roles are critical to mission success. Medical material technicians order and supply the pharmacy's medications whenever they are low. They also store emergency equipment such as bandages and first aid kits used in C-130's and for deployments. Biomedical equipment maintenance technicians inspect and repair faulty medical equipment. Together, the medical logistics and medical equipment repair flights form a team that keeps the 19th MDG functioning effortlessly.
