Team Little Rock Sports Day

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  The Team Little Rock Sports Day encompassed a full day, Oct. 3, with a little something for everyone. Each squadron and unit across the installation was given the opportunity to showcase their physical fitness by competing in several different events throughout the day. The events included everything from the tandem run to the sponge walk. The winning team in each event accumulated points that were contributed to their total squadron points. In the end, the 61st Airlift Squadron squeezed by the competition with the 19th Civil Engineer Squadron close behind. The 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron came in third place. Although Sports Day was a success, the real win was the camaraderie and morale that came with a down day accomplishing goals as a unit.
