The 19th Force Support Squadron hosted the first Rocktoberfest Oct. 4 at Little Rock Air Force Base for military members, Department of Defense civilians and their families. The event was held from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. as a morale, welfare and recreation program for all Team Little Rock members. The event had dozens of food vendors and unit booster club booths set up as well as a stage where live performances by local musicians took place. The event also gave motor heads in the local area a chance to show off their work during the car show. There were opportunities for arts and crafts, golf, and plenty of fun.

"Overall the event was a great success," said Ashley King, a 19th Force Support Squadron, event and sponsor coordinator.

King expressed her gratitude for all the key players involved in the success of Rocktoberfest. The contributors included but were not limited to the 19th Security Forces Squadron, base leadership and members of the 19th FSS.
