TLR Celebrates the Month of the Military Family

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE,Ark. -- Each November, we celebrate the Month of the Military Family. Along with recognizing and showing appreciation for each family who contributes to the military style, the Little Rock Air Force Base Airman and Family Readiness Center hosts a Month of the Military Family event each year. This year, the A&FRC provided a plethora of informational booths to teach military families about the opportunities available to them. Volunteers also set up craft tents, game stations and grilled hamburgers for more than 800 people. Awards were handed out to the winners of the talent contest, Littlest Warrior pageant and essay contest. Families are a military member's biggest supporter. It is always a good time to give back to them and show appreciation for all their dedication and support.
