Little Rock AFB Exchange Partners with H&R Block to Offer Discounted Tax Returns

Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. --  According to U.S. News and World Report, the Internal Revenue Service said it discovered 2.7 million errors made by taxpayers on their 2011 returns.

To help alleviate these mistakes for military personnel and their families, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is partnering with H&R Block to provide tax preparation services at a 10 percent discount.

In addition to a 10 percent discount, filers who utilize H&R Block's services through the Little Rock AFB Base Exchange will also receive complimentary year-round access and support for any questions as well as audit assistance to assist in preparing a response in the event of an audit.

Tax professionals working at Exchange locations have been trained to address unique issues facing those in the Armed Forces. H&R Block offers a Military Taxpayer course to associates to assist them in understanding military scenarios and tax returns as it relates to those in uniform.

The Little Rock AFB H&R Block office is located at building 787 6th Street, directly inside the Main Exchange, to the right and is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday noon until 4 p.m.

The Army and Air Force Exchange Service goes where Soldiers, Airmen and their families go to improve the quality of their lives through goods and services provided. Exchange earnings provide dividends to support military morale, welfare and recreation programs.
