Combat Airlifter of the Week: Maj. John Lawson

Maj. John Lawson, the 19th Medical Group integrator, provides the 19th MDG upgrade training and life support programs to 334 medical professionals. The Madison Heights, Mich., native, also provides guidance for Self Aid Buddy Care and CPR programs that are maintained in 32 base squadrons. John Lawson, 19th Medical Group health care integrator, as Combat Airlifter of the Week Sept. 14, 2015, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Lawson fills three different roles within the 19th MDG to include Chief Nurse, Education and Training Flight Chief and Health Care Integrator. Lawson is also responsible for directing clinical nursing care as well as providing administrative support to 82 registered nurses and medical technicians across three squadrons.
