AETC Legislative Affairs Chief visits LRAFB to discuss training, infrastructure initiatives

During a visit to Little Rock Air Force Base, Mr. G. James Herrera, Air Education and Training Command legislative affairs chief, met with 314th Airlift Wing leadership to discuss mission priorities, training needs and installation support. As part of AETC’s legislative affairs team, he engages with senior leaders and stakeholders to communicate Air Force priorities and support informed decision-making, helping ensure bases like Little Rock receive the resources needed to train, modernize and sustain the force. The visit focused on the advanced training pipeline, technical differences between C-130H and J models, and the progress of the Dorm of the Future initiative, emphasizing the importance of preparing the next generation of Airmen and reinforcing the 314th Airlift Wing’s mission to “Be Giants, Build Giants.”
