As the 19th Security Forces Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of supply, Staff Sgt. Dylan Burks’ exceptional leadership and initiative in serving as the unit’s point of contact for two consecutive 2025 Aim High events. His unwavering dedication and coordination with base agencies and internal sections resulted in a dynamic showcase of the Security Forces mission. Through his efforts, attendees-including local high school students and Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps staff-experienced an impressive display featuring our armament capabilities, the elite Phoenix Raven team, K-9 assets, and non-lethal demonstrations. His commitment to excellence and ability to highlight the multi-capable nature of Security Forces significantly contributed to the event's overwhelming success. 

Additionally, his consistent dedication and performance as the unit’s primary information technology equipment custodian, ensured the availability and functionality of laptops and accessories across more than 30 workstations. His proactive management to complete mission-critical tasks with minimal to no delays, directly contributed to the unit’s overall operational efficiency. 

Finally, Burks expertly manages the unit’s three equipment accounts, valued at over $799,000, in his alternate duties as a government purchase card cardholder, reconciling over $20,000 in supply and equipment purchases. In addition, he has relentlessly supported the deployment cycle with the reintegration of two returning members from overseas. Additionally, he aided with four outbound personnel ensuring they were properly prepared and transported to the airport, affirming on-time pre-deployment requirements in an organized manner.
