LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- Team Little Rock hosted a senior master sergeant release party to recognize 11 Herk Nation Airmen selected for promotion to the rank of senior master sergeant at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, March 15, 2024.
Master sergeants assigned to the 19th Airlift Wing and 314th Airlift Wing were among the 1,734 personnel selected out of 15,151 eligible for a selection rate of 11.44 percent in the 24E8 promotion cycle.
The progression from master sergeant to senior master sergeant marks a significant achievement, bringing about greater duties and chances to impact and mold the mission, and the Air Force.
During the release party, Col. Jonathan Tucker, 314th AW commander, gave closing remarks and addressed the selectees about their new rank and increased responsibilities.
