Hometown: Bowdoinham, Maine

Time in service: 10 years

Time at Little Rock: 2 years

Goals: Get step promoted to Technical Sergent

Hobbies: Golfing, computer games, and basketball

As a contracting officer with the 19th Airlift Wing Contracting Squadron, Dostie consistently demonstrates functional expertise and leadership, earning the trust of his squadron leadership and entrusted with a two-million-dollar warrant authority.

Additionally, Dostie has led and trained a nine-member team responsible for 69 contracts valued at 20 million dollars. He was also responsible for the 714th Training Squadron emergency wasp removal contract and completing a 30-day acquisition standard to five. This ensured continuity of operations, averting 80,000 dollars in simulator equipment damage and remediating an aircrew training pipeline stoppage. As a result of this action, Dostie was coined by the 714th TRS/CC.

Finally, Dostie secured 700,000 dollars in contracted IT services to support the local DHS network during the transition of medical services at Little Rock Air Force Base.
