As a religious affairs apprentice with the 19th Airlift Wing Chapel, Whitmire dedicated 1000 hours to serve the base and the local community through volunteer work.

Additionally, Whitmire recognized a potential operational security violation and reported it to ensure the safety of 40 deployers on a short notice tasking.

Finally, Whitmire fortified resiliency, organized and led one marriage retreat, four family fun nights, and planned the dorm event "Rocky Rumble," reaching 500 Airmen and families.
